In Ternopil

On May 8, 2016 Bishop V'yacheslav Horpynchuk has visited St. Apostles John and James Lutheran Church in Ternopil. Bishop V'yacheslav and Pastor Taras Kokovski have led the liturgy. Pastor Taras has preached the sermon. After the Liturgy Bishop V'yacheslav and Pastor Taras have participated at the meeting of the congregation where the new Church Council has been elected (reelected). We wish the brothers elected to the Church Council and all the people of St Apostles John and James every success in their work in the Vineyard of the Lord!

Presentations in Ternopil

 

Pastor Taras Kokovski and his wife, Lesia Kokovska-Romanchuk have been invited to make a presentation at the Library for Youth in Ternopil. Pastor Taras and his spouse have talked about Lutheran tradition of the Lent, performed a few songs and presented quite a few different books, among them excellent stuff published by the Lutheran Heritage Foundation.
