Vacation Bible School in Kremenets

June was a very busy month for the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kremenets and volunteers from the Grace Lutheran Church, Oskaloosa, Iowa and the Faith Lutheran Church, Sharpsburg, Georgia. Lots of work, lots of the Law and Gospel, lots of grace!

Vacation Bible School in Ivanivka (former Johannestahl)

Pastor Serhiy Somin with VBS kids after classes at the porch of St. John Lutheran Church in Ivanivka (Mykolaiv Oblast). For the whole week of the VBS children studied Luther's Small Catechism, the Bible and Christian songs. Pastor Somin has also conducted radio classes, especially for boys (not  at the picture).

Wedding at St.Catherine in Kyiv

Alina Plakhotniuk and V'yacheslav Hryschuk were married at St. Catherine Lutheran Church in Kyiv. The wedding was performed by Bishop V'yacheslav Horpynchuk.  Resurrection Lutheran Church wishes the new couple many happy and blessed years of family life, walking with the Lord!!!

In Ternopil

On May 8, 2016 Bishop V'yacheslav Horpynchuk has visited St. Apostles John and James Lutheran Church in Ternopil. Bishop V'yacheslav and Pastor Taras Kokovski have led the liturgy. Pastor Taras has preached the sermon. After the Liturgy Bishop V'yacheslav and Pastor Taras have participated at the meeting of the congregation where the new Church Council has been elected (reelected). We wish the brothers elected to the Church Council and all the people of St Apostles John and James every success in their work in the Vineyard of the Lord!
